Synopsis

A man named Mark wakes to an empty bedside in a dark, deserted hospital. Disoriented, he wanders the halls and searches the hospital’s patient database, typing in “CASSIE MCKENZIE.” When the screen shows her status as DECEASED, panic sets in. A television suddenly flickers on, broadcasting an evacuation alert that urges him to find the exit, and not to turn back once he does. The message cuts out, and Cassie’s voice echoes faintly through the corridors. Mark follows it, plunging deeper into a confusing maze of hallways calling her name until he crashes into a wall, breaking his nose. His blood smears into the words ‘NO WAY OUT’. At the end of the dark corridor, Cassie appears, shrouded in shadow, and instantly transports him back to the room where he began. There, he watches security footage of himself smothering her to death out of mercy. Mark heads for the exit, numb, but just before stepping through, he turns back to see Cassie suffering, staring at him.
